Jeoff Burris is Principal of Advanced Purchasing Dynamics. With 20 years of experience in procurement and global sourcing, Mr. Burris became a widely-recognized expert on procurement processes by building high-performance teams for the automotive industry. He has led purchasing staffs at Ford Motor Company, Metaldyne and Intier Automotive Seating, where his groups consistently saved money on procurement costs and significantly improved related processes. During that time, Jeoff became a successful global manager, running profitable facilities and joint ventures in India, Korea and Mexico.
In 2004, Mr. Burris founded Advanced Purchasing Dynamics, where he has integrated methodologies for true cost model engineering and approaches to evaluate global sourcing options, while performing precise and customized risk and opportunity assessments for the company’s valued clients. His business philosophy is rooted in forging better, more collaborative relationships with suppliers, with techniques that improve the entire organization, not just the purchasing department.
Mr. Burris earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Supervision from Purdue University, and he also holds an MBA in Operations from Indiana University.
