OMTEC 2020 Speaking Opportunities - Two Locations!

By speaking at OMTEC, you'll gain exposure to prospective new customers and build awareness for
your company and its expertise. Audience members will have the opportunity to interact with you directly at your company's booth or in the new Supplier Talks Theater, adjacent to the Exhibit Hall.

To bolster OMTEC's robust education curriculum (and at the request of folks like you), exhibitors and attendees alike are invited to present technical knowledge, best practices, case studies, how-tos and innovations to enhance the learning and networking opportunities for all participants. A newly created Supplier Talks Theater, as well as select exhibit booth locations, will serve as additional education arenas for OMTEC 2020. We are seeking passionate leaders, innovators and subject-matter experts who employ exciting and engaging presentation styles on topics that are relevant, credible and aligned with orthopedic industry challenges and opportunities.

Speaking at OMTEC affords you the opportunity to:
  • Gain personal exposure as an expert while showcasing your company's competencies and building its brand
  • Nurture personal connections through audience engagement and networking
  • Fuel in-bound inquiries by having your name, company and presentation title published online and in promotions
Times and locations:
  • In-booth presentations are 15 minutes in length and scheduled to run during the morning's unopposed exhibit floor time
  • The Supplier Talks Theater presentations are 30 minutes in length and scheduled to run during education hours
Additional considerations:
  • A $225 fee will be charged for each abstract you submit. The fee is not refundable, even if your abstract is not selected.
  • You must be a confirmed exhibitor or registered attendee to participate. (Booth applications are available here. Attendee registration opens in February.)
  • Your abstract must be received by February 25. You may submit as many abstracts as you like.

Abstract Review Process

Abstracts will be vetted by OMTEC’s Industry Advisory Board on the basis of content, educational value, relevance and overall program balance. Company commercials and blatant marketing speak will be rejected...it's simply not effective. Focus on true engagement with your audience. Incomplete abstracts will not be considered.

Abstract Requirements

The abstract submission form requires that you type or copy/paste your text into it. You will be asked to provide the following information, so it’s ideal to have everything prepared and approved in your own document prior to completing the form

  • Speaker name, title, company and contact information
  • Presentation title
  • Abstract (300 word max description of your presentation)
  • Learning objectives (100 word max)

Additionally, you'll be asked to select your ideal attendee (product development, quality, purchasing, manufacturing, supply chain management, regulatory, etc.).

Important Dates
  • Abstract Submission Deadline: February 25, 2020
  • Results Sent to all Abstract Submitters: March 20, 2020
  • Presentation Dates: June 10-11, 2020
