Cornwall 200x200G. Bryan Cornwall, Ph.D., PEng, has spent 20 years in the medical device industry, with 14 years as an executive in publicly-traded companies. He is Founder and Principal at Cornwall Bioengineering & Communications (CBeC), and also adjunct faculty in Mechanical Engineering at the University of San Diego, Shiley-Marcos School of Engineering. Dr. Cornwall was employed at NuVasive from start-up (venture capital-backed with ~10 employees & zero revenue in 1999) to the #3 player in the global spine market, with more than $1 billion in market capitalization. Dr. Cornwall’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering, a Master of Applied Science in Material Science and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Orthopaedic Biomechanics from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
