“The Voice of the Customer” has been the driving force behind ORTHOWORLD’s offerings since its founding in 1992. In fact, BONEZONE and later OMTEC were each created in direct response to the manufacturing challenges faced by orthopedic device company professionals. In that spirit, the Advisory Board and the Exhibitor Committee were created to formalize the channel through which critical challenges could be communicated and prioritized for action.
Orthopedic device commercialization continues to become increasingly complex. Executive management, engineers, operations and supply chain professionals are now called upon to contribute meaningfully and communicate effectively across departments. Today, and into the foreseeable future, versatility, capacity and sound judgment are as crucial to a successful commercialization strategy as technical expertise.
OMTEC’s advisors lend weight and perspective to these ever-changing business dynamics by giving accounts of their firsthand experiences — what’s working and what isn’t — and by identifying the knowledge gaps and sources of untapped opportunity.
