What Is It? Product Development vs.
Product Management

 

This session will focus on the respective roles and responsibilities of the Product Manager vs. the Development Engineer from a product’s inception through its lifecycle maintenance. Attendees will learn how to leverage the cross-functional product team to deliver results, business vs. technical aspects of product development, putting the customer first and navigating the organization in order to get things done.

WarrenGitt webWarren Gitt is an accomplished senior executive with 35+ years of experience managing medical device/equipment and healthcare companies, as well as extensive experience in sales/marketing, business development, service and manufacturing operations.  Mr. Gill holds a Master’s Degree in International Business from the Thunderbird School of International Management and has led product management and marketing teams with Zimmer, Biomet, Hill-Rom and most recently, K2M.  Mr. Gitt’s global product development/management experience includes orthopaedic and spinal implants, single-use items, arthroscopic and electrosurgical instruments and equipment and biomedical service marketing programs. He currently serves as a strategic marketing and business development consultant to K2M, where he previously served as the Vice President of Global Product Management.
